a gallagher tale ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 360 Smile We went to the Tennessee State Fair tonight. As we were wandering around trying to figure out which way is up, there was this little stage with a band starting to set up. Of course Shane wanted to stay and listen to them but they weren't playing yet so we wandered on. We hadn't gotten far when we heard the music though, so we headed back. There wasn't a really big crowd unfortunately, I hate that. Having a former band man as a husband I can't help but cringe when seeing bands play to a handful of spectators. But we sat and watched and Zane danced and even elicited a "that little guy is a rocker!" from the lead singer between songs. They were pretty decent really. The lead singer was really good. The drummer... well, I'm a drummer's wife and I'm critical. :o) But he coulda stood some extra practice time. ;) In any case, I enjoyed the show and we went up and bought their CD when they got done. Zane had gotten sick unfortunately or we may very well have stayed for their second show. The lead singer came around and talked to Zane for a minute but like I said he was feeling sick and wasn't in the mood for talking. Not that he ever is....
