a gallagher tale ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A Visit My mother-in-law is coming tomorrow. She is house-hunting nearby. She will be staying with us in the house we are sitting for. It is fairly likely that we won't be seeing *much* of her since she will be in another town looking at houses, and we will be largely up north taking care of our farm. We have livestock now, so it is pretty important to be up there as much as possible. My house sitting stint will be over on Wednesday/Thursday of next week and that will simplify things quite a bit. I can't believe I haven't gotten any pictures of our goats yet! They are getting friendlier. But they STINK! I read about them online and apparently it's the bucks that stink. We have one white buck, one brown buck, and one black doe. The brown buck loves the black doe, and is super protective of her. The white buck is the unfortunate loner. The brownie beats him up all the time and whitey hangs out in the corner by himself. It's unfortunate, because whitey is the friendliest one of them all. Uncle Bobby e-mailed me and asked me for pictures of them so I have got to get on that, like, ASAP! Tomorrow morning Shane has to go to work in Nashville and I am going to ride along.
