Dedication
I dedicate this entry to Shane, who is dedicated to making that farm work no matter how ridiculous it gets.
We don't have a well. We can't afford a well, because it will cost, as an estimate, $10,000 to put a well in. We don't have $10,000 right now, and, honestly, if we did have $10,000 right now, we would not use it to put a well in. A well would be very very nice, though. Because, as it is, Shane has to take the four wheeler and some water jugs and go to the other end of the property where there is a spring and he has to fill up the water jugs and bring them back up to our ridge. He puts the water in our fresh tank in the trailer, and he waters the animals. He literally has to do this almost every day. He is dedicated.
Me, I would just quit and give up on the farm entirely until we could get a well. I'm just not dedicated like him. Therefore I dedicate this to him.
Peaches is pretty grateful anyway. She drinks about 15 gallons of water a day just by herself.
