a gallagher tale

Books

I don't feel so hot. I was feeling a lot better this morning, but my neck is really sore (I wonder why?), and tonight while I was putting Zane to bed, he rolled over and hit me with his elbow right on my bruised cheek. It hadn't really been hurting until then. Now it is just throbbing with pain. Daggumit.

We are on our land, as we have been mostly for a week now, and I left my book back in town at Mom's house. That is a bummer. I am reading

Plague Dogs by Richard Adams. It is pretty sad. I just finished Watership Down by same author, which was also a fairly depressing read. Not depressing in the weeping your eyes out way, but more just makes you think sad thoughts. I can tell you one thing though, while I was running around chasing Tucker and playing with him in the yard today, I was thinking of Snitter. Poor Snitter. I sure wish I had that book now, I'd probably finish it up here the next day or two.

Wednesday the girls come home. That should be interesting. I have some possible news regarding one of them... maybe. We shall see.
