Zane put himself in Tucker's kennel tonight. And Tucker followed. So Zane shut the door. And stayed there for a really long time. Laughing maniacally. Crazy kid.
Shane was trying to make the last of his homeowner calls, but Zane had already gone to bed, so I was free to pester my hubby. So I did! I was taking videos and pictures of him talking to his home owners, and finally he turned around and snapped "Stop taking pictures of my double-chin!" but then couldn't resist laughing anyway. Crazy guy.
I have no idea where he picked this up, but for some reason, everytime I whip out my camera (even if it's my PHONE) Zane will start making weird faces. Luckily, most of them are extremely adorable.
Those above are some little snippets of my glorious husband for you to enjoy. In one he is trying to make his homeowner calls and telling me in an annoyed voice that I talk too loud and I need to leave the room, and then realizes he is being recorded. Ha! And the other is him talking to my mom saying he is not remorseful for telling me I talk too loud. Haha. Oh, that husband of mine.
Anyway, because I made the mistake of saying how happy I was to be moving to another park... we didn't move! Shane didn't have time and now he is almost done scoping so he doesn't want to bother. He promised that if we get more claims, he will move. He will be scoped out tomorrow, I will have the claims written on Monday, and then, if we don't get more, we will head home! Probably!
This is triply exciting for me because, 1)I miss home!, 2)We have enough money for power & sewer and maybe some framing, and 3)AMAUVIA WILL BE THERE! In fact, I got a phone call tonight from the transport driver and he said, "I've got your girl" and I said, "Whhaaa?" He wasn't supposed to pick her up until tomorrow morning and Judi was supposed to call me as soon as he picked her up! Hmph! But no one called me until just now when the transport driver finally did. So my mom is going over to Dickson tomorrow morning to say hi to Amauvia, to pay the transport driver (I had to overnight her the money because they wouldn't take Paypal), pay the boarding lady (I had to Paypal mom for this one), and sign the boarding contract. Then, when I get home, I will go over there and sign a new contract under my name, since that's only fair. She is my horse. And then we'll put a fence up and we'll bring Amauvia & Peaches home! Home! Maybe we'll find a way to get Moody too. I have decided I will call him Moody because Muad is just strange, and "Amauvia" is enough strangeness for one barn.
We don't have near the amount of money that we were hoping/expecting to have by this time of year, but I am so happy to be going home I don't mind too much. There is also the chance we will be sent to another storm now, since there are so many across the country. I admit I will be torn if that happens. Money = good, being away from home = bad. It's our lives, what can ya do. We chose it!
