Monday Again

So, you may or may not know, Friday was my birthday. On Saturday, Shane, Zane, Jamie, Paul, Abel, and I all went rafting/boating down the St. Croix River. It was a 7 hour trip and we were wiped by the end. Poor boys had to carry the boat most of the way. The women and children lazily drifted on the raft. :o) I didn't get any pictures because I didn't want to get my camera wet, which was smart thinking if I do say so myself.

Sunday we stumbled across a Seadoo for sale on the side of the road, which was what Shane had wanted to buy me for my birthday but hadn't been able to find. So he bought it.

We aren't very good money-managers, but we have a lot of fun!

We took it for a quick spin all three of us, around Big McGraw Lake, even though it was coldddd out, then Zane & I played in the water while Shane tested her out for realz. It's a pretty nice machine.

Today we're back to work. We're taking Tuesday & Wednesday off and then it will be back to work on Thursday.
